Forming
At the forefront of our Sheet Metal Division, is our brand new 8-Axis Press Brake from LVD. This fully optioned machine is equipped with LVD’s Easy Form Laser system, to allow precision measurement of each bend, and independent CNC back-gaging for complex bend profiles.
With these two advanced options, and industry leading bending software, this machine reduces scrap parts on initial set-up and provides efficient set-up of both simple and complex bending applications.
Waterjet
Along with the 60,000psi pump and garnet abrasive sand, our 5′ x 10′ Waterjet has a 5-Axis cutting head to allow full versatility for the cutting application. The 5-axis head can be used for 3D profiles or for taper compensation on all thicknesses of material. This provides straighter cuts than compared with conventional Waterjet machines.
This machine is perfect for intricate or simple profiles in almost any material, with the exception of tempered glass. Exceeding the precision and accuracy you would expect from conventional process, this machine provides versatility in 3D profile cutting as well as precision flat patterns for further processing on our press brake.
Welding
Podium provides precision GTAW welding of carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. While focusing on precise weldments, we also offer general welding services for less complex or precise components.
Welding is an essential service for our Sheet Metal & Fabrication division, providing our customers with a one-stop shop for all of their manufacturing requirements. Currently, we do not provide any mobile or on-call welding services.
